What if you could…
Stop talking about what you want and get it done
Meet Pam Marshall
PCC, ACC, NLP Practioner, EQ-i
Welcome! If you are here, there are probably things in your life you would like to change. Here is a little bit about my philosophy and how I can help you live the life you are here to live.
As a long-standing member of Corporate America, a wife, mother, daughter and chronic over-thinker, I completely understand how you may feel drowned in life’s demands, distractions and challenges, leaving very little energy for what is most important to you.
I believe that having a better life is in your control.
Recent research in Neuro-plasticity shows that your brain isn’t “fixed” after a certain point in life. This means that you can start changing negative thought patterns and make life-changing habit changes starting today.
You have the power to think about and do things differently. It is a simple shift of energy and focus. I believe the knowledge of how to move forward, while perhaps temporarily hidden, is inside you; so, you don’t have to look far. Mindset Coaching is an exploration of what you want your life to look like, and an active re-training of the brain to get you unstuck and moving.

Frequently Asked Questions
What training and certification do you have?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and I received my training and certification as a Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Master Practitioner through IPEC, The Institute for Professional Education in Coaching and earned my NLP-Practioner Certification through Transform Destiny.
I’m also certified through the International Coaching Federation as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and certified to debrief the EQ-i-2.0.
Will coaching work for me?
Coaching will work well for you if you are:
– Open minded
– Committed to starting a new chapter in your life
– Ready to let go of your excuses
– Willing to take action
Committing the time to explore and work toward your goals, with an objective listener and guide, can work like magic to change your life.
How does coaching work?
My approach to coaching is a 1-on-1 personalized program. We will work together to transform the areas of your life that you want to improve.
Each program is customized, and your plan will be based on what you want to achieve. Packages and prices are discussed during our complimentary strategy call. I offer programs from 1 to 3 months. Sessions are typically 50 minutes long, with email/text support between sessions included. My coaching sessions are typically held over Skype, or by phone, so there is no waiting time or travel for you.
Why do you call yourself a mindset coach?
Mindset is the attitude you hold about yourself, the world around you, and what you believe is possible. Your Mindset can move you forward in life, or it can stop you in your tracks. My coaching program is designed to help you move forward.
Mindset is affected by multiple factors, many of which are within your control. The goal is to accept the things that are not in your control, and shift your energy and focus to change what you can. It is REALLY hard to get out of your head by staying there. My approach is action based, and includes:
– Gaining clarity around what you REALLY want
– Making clear actionable decisions
– Taking small, CONSISTENT, actions to achieve your goals
The mindset coaching process is an active exploration what holds you back and what moves you forward. It is a journey into awareness of who you are, who you want to be and how to get there.

About Pam
From as early as I remember I learned to plan for the worst. Psychologists call this “awfulizing” and I was very good at it. I learned to factor in “worst case” scenarios before learning to tie my shoes. One of the challenges of this type of thinking is that when you are busy planning for the worst, you don’t have time to fully live.
Whether this was nature or nurture for me, it is a very stressful and “stuck” way to live. I was lucky, however, to have the gift of awareness, and a strong belief that life doesn’t have to be this way. Ever since I learned that that more than 70% of our daily thoughts are negative, I’ve been on a journey to find effective tools to help fellow “awfulizers” live the lives they are here to live.
And here is what I discovered…
Fear based thinking causes you to look into the future and fill in the uncertainty with scary stories. You attach emotion to the thoughts and voila, you are terrified. Once emotions are involved, the fear intensifies and you are stuck. Your head tells you that this situation may not happen, but the stories you tell yourself get lodged in your subconscious, and you are stuck. Sounds fun, right?
This is actually normal human behavior, so if this is you, give yourself a break!
What I teach now is what I learned over the course of 35 years. I get it, you may have lived with, or you are currently dealing with, a negative parent, spouse, job, living situation, or even a combative relationship with yourself, and it can be hard to change habits and established behavior. However, once you realize that this fearful, negative thinking is normal, and created by your own mind, it is the beginning of owning your power to change.
It isn’t easy, but it is absolutely possible.
I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, 25 years in the Biotech Industry and I am a Certified Professional Coach. I have researched how our Mindset affects us from experts in all areas, including Behavioral and Positive Psychology, Neuroscience, Human Physiology, Physics, Spirituality and Positive Thinking. Experts in these respective areas have diverse perspectives, and all provide interesting data and facts. For me, it was a compilation of these different concepts into a comprehensive program that put me on the road to positive change.
At some level, I always understood that we have control over how we see the world and how we “show up” in our lives. The simple tools I have learned over the years provide the “How” to engage that personal power. It is hard to get out of your head by staying there, so many of the tools I use are grounded in action. My tools include topics such as:
- Understanding, from a neurological standpoint, why you get stuck
- Utilizing the power of small consistent actions
- Living consistently with your values and purpose
- Harnessing the Power of Now
- Brain-based strategies for positive habit change and personal accountability
If the story of your life isn’t a happy, peaceful one , you can create a different story. There will always be problems in life. It is not our job to eliminate then, but to see past them to the opportunities that are there, just waiting for you.
